Jerry Kauffman

Has been designing and manufacturing fine commercial and residential cabinetry for over 35 years. Jerry’s artistic skills are reflected in his eclectic mix of furnishings from exciting high tech and contemporary to fine antique reproductions. His work can be found in executive offices and upscale homes here and abroad.

A sampling of the construction techniques he’s mastered are: hardwood, veneers, lathe turning, laminates with or without inlays, wood carving. Many of his designs incorporate glass or metals. His reputation for solving complex engineering issues, make Jerry the first choice for designers, architects, artists and individuals with a vision.

Clients often express amazement after Jerry has remodeled their kitchen or office cabinetry because they “have all this extra space” without expanding the original footprint of the cabinets. Great designs by Jerry utilize every square inch with convenient layouts and features that affordably address his customer’s needs.

Wyandotte Designs studio and manufacturing is located at Mel’s Art Space in the Rivermarket area of Kansas City. Since 1990, Jerry’s line of recycled toaster art lamps Whole Wheat Awry, sculptures in wood or laminate and custom tables may be viewed here during shows or by appointment.

Whether it’s your design or his, function and art always merge in Jerry’s fine custom furnishings.
